Irish tourism destroyed by foreign immigrants

The tourism industry is integral in Ireland, vital to our economy. The standards of Irish hospitality and tourist experience were once highly regarded internationally. Ireland was desirable, tourism was thriving. Those good times are gone.
Foreign immigrants who are generally ignorant about Ireland and Irish culture, were employed on minimum wage on a large scale, by business owners for short term gain.
Such immigrants should never have been employed in any tourist facing capacity.
Apart from the Irish people being a easy-touch, who seem content to see their own country destroyed by unprecedented levels of immigration, what else could say a Nigerian or Latvian tell any genuine tourist about Ireland.
Foreign immigrants who know little about Ireland, who are dealing with tourists in any capacity, are going to put tourists off Ireland, that is not rocket science, that is not racist, it is obvious sense.
Who in their right minds will come back to a land of no specific culture.
Our native Irish culture is what attracted tourists here to Ireland, it was once special and unique. What Ireland had to offer is almost destroyed.
Tourists have become disillusioned by staying in Irish hotels where the staff are not Irish and may have poor English, limiting their opportunities to converse.

Ask your BS TD if they'd like to pay good money to travel to visit China to have some semi understandable Polish bloke telling them about the great wall.
Trips to Ireland down 900,000 last year
Official figures show that the number of trips made by overseas visitors to The Central Statistics Office said there were just over 6.9 million trips to Ireland last year, a fall of more than 900,000 or 11.6% compared with 2008.
A slump in the numbers travelling from Britain accounted for most of the fall. There were 615,000 fewer trips from Britain last year, a drop of almost 16%. Visits from the rest of Europe fell 8.7%, though there was a smaller fall of 2.4% from North America.
For December last year, trips to Ireland were down 6% from the same month in 2008
