Dont know if any of you had a sort of , you know the day of the week by whats for dinner , but was like that where I was raised , used to think was lack of imagination , but now realise it was old and wise ways that figured this out ..wont bore you all by every meal I ate , im convinced looking back , there was energy boosting days needed , and Monday Morning everyone had porridge , its when I really looked into all these meals we ate , the reasons jumped out at me , farming people might not have known the chemistry of it all , but they got the reasoning , to this day there are certain foods not to be eaten together , they knew by instinct , by the way im just saying farming people as its what I know , but im sure loads more Irish knew this .
