When they find out
You are a writer
If you are going
To write about them
In your next book
Men especially want to know this
They ask me point blank


So let me make this blanket statement
For all those who ask
Especially the men
Who happen to bump into me
Like ships in the night
Of this so called life

Most definitely
You will be in my next book
Maybe even all of my books
But you will not know
For you will be hidden
Disguised as colorful characters
Woven into the fabric of the story
Displayed prominently
On pages between words
For permanent posterity

And if you do me dirt
Consider this...
I will give you a funny name
Large ears
A bumpy nose
And randomly make small
Other selected pieces
Of your anatomy

I shall then giggle for all eternity

So mind yourself...
