Yes time has come - we have all seen what has occurred when commerce and people are allowed to self regulate.

The Irish government continued to think it was smart to be the EU teachers pet, now the EU has embarrassed the Irish government along with most other nations in Europe who have closed their borders.

Now is the Irish governments times to be pro-active and act now to protect the Irish people.

To think the irish govt allowed thousands of ignorants to go visit Cheltenham and the uk govt happy to take these careless selfish fools money.
A few days later the uk govt postponed their grand national, as they knew the risks!!!

Cheltenham had a confirmed case a week before the event!!

The Irish govt should have must have known this, so stop it and act now you cowards.

Forget the common travel arrangements a system that the uk only really allowed way back because it suited their claims on Ireland and assured a steady supply in the past of cheap labour and nurses and doctors and every other trade, while Ireland of old was tithed and taxed robbed blind by the same uk.

Block all entry from britain now, that nation is gambling with its own peoples lives , we need to not allow the unchecked and likely infected from there to just come on in any longer.

The arrangement can be re examined and looked at in the future, but make no bones about it, Ireland a far better run nation in the 21st century has no gain from the arrangement anymore and has not had for decades now and will not in the future.
