Ireland must not allow a few wealthy subsidized farmers to dictate politics or the quality of life for the rest of us, at least not any more than they currently do!.
Already these few wealthy subsidized farmers in a subsidized career of their choice, have the ear of politicians
Fine Gael some of whom are related to farm owners or related industry
Have already made special laws so the greed driven farmers can get workers into Ireland from poor nations across the world, outside the EU! (as if half a billion was not enough people to exploit)
That's why we have so many Asians and the likes of THOUSANDS OF BRAZILIANS working in beef processing factories in Ireland, so many some towns do not even look like they are Irish anymore.
of course Irish beef farmers who have had it good beign subsidized in their career choice, who have not been pro active just relying on selling beef to the closest next nation. are going to find it not as easy, they might actually like the rest of us have to do work that is NOT Subsidized by the other tax payers!
Not a big problem anyway as Ireland is not reliant on the beef industry and many of the jobs are not even Irish people!
they are immigrant workers who are being exploited and in turn we are exploited made to compete with housing.
No wonder ordinary Irish families are unable to afford rent!
They may not be taking Irish jobs, as they may be doing jobs the Irish supposedly wont do, (makes you wonder why so many Irish do any job around the world if so) but let's say that's true!
YOU ARE STILL COMPETING WITH SINGLE ECONOMIC MIGRANTS WHO TYPICALLY LIVING SEVERAL TOGETHER IN A RENTED HOME
So yes you are effected directly by greed of a few business who are blind greed and do not care!
Because of mass economic immigration, you and your children are made to compete-
FOR RENT
FOR DOCTORS
FOR HOSPITALS
FOR SCHOOLS
Immigration is great but when it is exploited and used by the greedy few landlords and industries like the beef industry and vegetable farmers.
When it is purely for business, then it is abuse on all else who pay.
No one wins in a race to the bottom, no one but the short term blind greed of a few, who's own children will pay eventually in a poorer nation in every way!
So the problem we are told is that tens of thousands of jobs are at risk if the beef farmers are not helped
Guess what
THESE SAME FARMERS EMPLOY THOUSANDS, LIKELY TENS OF THOUSANDS OP ECONOMIC BRAZILIAN IMMIGRANT WORKERS IN IRELAND.
UK feck off, no more threats !
good a no deal Brexit will be a bonus for most other industries and workers in Ireland.
Provided we stop encouraging more and more greed for a few!
There is a answer staring, but they'll try and keep the obvious from the RTE news.
THESE SAME FARMERS EMPLOY THOUSANDS, LIKELY TENS OF THOUSANDS OP ECONOMIC BRAZILIAN IMMIGRANT WORKERS IN IRELAND.
meanwhile in the uk, good luck to the average farmer there trying to compete with Michael goves imported cheap cheap impossible to credibly check and regulate imported Brazilian beef.
Irish beef was no threat, just wait and see who ends up being worse off, not only the consumer eating dodgy meat they have no clue where or when.
Michael gove will be fine though, after dinner speeches and likely the money to buy shares in monster beef farms in the likes of brazil.
