It may be convenient and comforting for the bigot, but it still remains fiction once you re write or suppose a history.

The history books and first hand reports written in the respective US President's actual living time period, clearly shows that most Presidents in this list regarded their ancestors as Irish and from Ireland, and not of the highly dubious scots Irish myth and invention, or of any other supposed distinct sect.

At least twenty-four presidents of the United States have some Irish ancestral origins.
