Just watched the rte.ie player pre match Sweden v Ireland and Robbie Keane's ideas for the FAI. Basically Robbie Keane talking about the job he would like with Ireland soccer, when someone in the FAI Management is finally morally honorable enough to give the gold watch retirement hint to the zombie version of Robbie Keane.
Not just more than one Irish soccer fan noticing how the real Robbie Keane has been taken over by father time and a older slower bumbling Zombie who goes by the name of Robbie Keane.
Keane has almost become that most notable Premier League subspecies, the zombie star: legs still moving, eyes still open, carried forwards by the unspent momentum of his own celebrity, a machine in the process of winding down.
And that was over a year ago

Like everyone else has said - in his day Robbie Keane was a great goalscorer, if never much else to his game.
That day has long gone, the Robbie Keane of 2011 / 2012 / 2013 is in summary - a slow and second rate Zombie compared to the goal machine Keane of ancient times.
Is Giovanni Trapattoni blind to players who are currently at least twice the player of self anointed King Robbie?
Wes Hoolahan is the man for Ireland not Keane.
Look what Hoolahan can bring to the game in 2013.
10 minutes of class soccer skills from Wes Hoolahan playing in top flight (not the SPL or MLS) football leagues of past two seasons.
The clips against top class sides speak for themselves - Wes Hoolahan is probably the most under rated & under utilized Irish player of the last FAI Management decade.
Try and find enough clips of Robbie Keane in the past 2 or 3 years that would fill a entertaining minute.
This is about the best time current there is of Robbie Keane the parody man.
Robbie Keane is one of the great chancers of Irish soccer, a once great goal chancer, and now Robbie the chancer. Robbie Keane's pre match CV appeal was almost as embarrassing as it was comical to listen to, as unsubtle a hint there ever was, almost admirable in its raw chancers cheek.
2011

Go Robbie, just go before Irish fans can only recall your presence in frustration.
You were a once great player for Ireland, but so was Paul McGrath and so was Roy Keane and so was Liam Brady and many others, nothing lasts forever Robbie, do not fade your lasting memory in a Ireland shirt to second rate.
