Aer Lingus may resume direct flights from Dublin Ireland to California
This could be very useful for many of us. I need to visit California at least once a year. Might make use of a direct flight to catch a Ireland flight and take a break from warm weather and sunshine.

Aer Lingus flights to the US west coast could resume as soon as March next year as the airline says it is considering relaunching a service there.
The Irish airline says the outcome of its discussions will be made known 'shortly'.
Aer Lingus has had talks with four Californian airports - San Francisco, San José, Oakland and Los Angeles - about operating a service there.
It is also believed to have had talks with the Dublin Airport Authority about adding to its long-haul services. This could include flights from Dublin to New York, Boston, and Chicago, and a seasonal service to Orlando in Florida.
California is the top connecting destination for flights out of Dublin Airport, with San Francisco and Los Angeles separately among the top five.
Such a route would be welcomed by the growing number of Irish businesses with links in Silicon Valley and by the many multinationals based here.
Aer Lingus seem to be doing well, at least in context of their often and fairly recent predicted doom.
Nice Airline, Ireland can be proud of it.
