George Hook just said that Scottish Rugby refs are the worst referees in the world.
Allen the Scottish touch judge and Scottish Rugby Union official, must be either blind or hate Ireland. His opinion beggars belief. He was asked by the ref was the resulting foul try good, was the throw in OK and same ball.
It was a different rugby ball handed to the Welsh team by a Welsh Millenium stadium ball boy. As the Irish team were waiting for the actual match ball to come back, Wales sneaked in a foul try. Ref allowed it after consulting with Allen the Scottish official.
Wales 19-13 Ireland
8 points given by the Scottish official.
Plain wrong call but now we wait for the excuses. Rugby officials are of course never wrong.
Ireland were not great today or in this 6 nations so far, but they never deserved to lose against the even worse Wales.
Look out England, Ireland will now be 100% determined to get some pride back and spoil the English dream of a grand slam.
