We have suppliers who can not supply ....and clients who can not pay.
I am now very concerned by the lack of leadership from Brian Cowen in this crisis.
Yes this is a worldwide problem ...and Ireland is in as good shape as most ....all that is of no comfort what so ever ...to those who are losing business and jobs now.
Government inaction is leading to a new level of unnecessary and increased risk.
Unfortunately uless they act and quickly ....it is very real ..to suggest that we are finished as a viable economy.
We are going to have to bite the bullet ...effectively buy the banks ....with hard capital.
This is going to cost at least 10 billion ....Which is a real problem ....because there is no budget surplus and this action is needed now .....right now.
The Pension fund must be used ....there is no choice.
