Sceala Irish Craic Forum Discussion:     The twelve Irish tenors
They made their American Premiere in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to rave reviews and then moved to Reno, NV for a six month stay.
When the Twelve Irish Tenors opened at the Eldorado, few predicted they would run for nearly six months. Both the success and the quality of the show have brought it two extensions.
The long run has brought about inevitable cast changes, and only five of the tenors are of the original ensemble, but the group remains diverse with personalities from around the globe. They hail mostly from England (London, Birmingham, Bournemouth and Cambridge). One lives in Kerry, Ireland, and one in Rochester Hills, Mich. All, however, claim Irish heritage.
Jay McManus performs an Irish Jig to the song Phil the Fluter, with the Twelve Irish tenors. Live in concert.
