Sceala Irish Craic Forum Discussion:     Cleaning Your Garage or Attic
Just got a call from a friend of mine... she was sooooo excited. You see, I am always going on about my Irish ancestry, throwing out a few words of Irish, talking about my Dad, the discussion Board that I am a member of ...etc.

Well, she was cleaning out her garage today where she has box after box stored form her parents that passed long ago. Well, she found a box with her Dad's papers of every sort inside. She came across her Father's Father's certificate (forget which kind) that states he was born in Ireland. She was excited to call and let me know and shouted...we're related !! now is that not cute.

His surname was Dundas. Since it did not say where in Ireland...only Ireland... she was curious of what may have been the area for Dundas' a few gneerations back...I am guessing mid- 1800's.

anybody have any background information on Dundas?
