Lost hour .

Location: Scotland

I took that hour to myself , and went back to where no one can see me , all those lost and gained pieces of time that ive wondered where they went ..lose an hour gain an hour .

We had arranged to meet early that Sunday morning , to be at the corner of Murphys cottage just before the crossroads , it would still be dark , and our going away would go unnoticed , I awoke early , and my things that were mine were easily packed , I looked around the kitchen , shoes polished for Mass in the morning in a neat row , the range was glowing gold in the darkness , little embors still lit , not a sound from the cattle in the fields , not a hen had stirred , pulled my jacket on ..looked around one last time , they wont miss me really I sighed , went towards the door , silently lifted the latge , and into the soft morning air , was a bit chilly , and pulled my coat tight about me , held my bag tight as went up the hill ..away from home , soon was at the crossroads , my heart beating , couldnt belive id left , and not a tear or regret , sat on the stone wall , and waited , several times was sure seen you coming , stood up to greet you , then sat again , the dawn was fast approching , time was running out , could feel tears sting my eyes , he didnt want to after all ...just then seen a figure running over the brow of the hill ....towards me ...my heart leapt with gladness ...stood there , and could hardly dare breathe ....then seen his little brother ..hiya , Dan says hes sorry hes late cant run away with you , he forgot the clocks changed last night ...he will see you in School on Monday .
