Ireland needs ! even more low skilled CHEAP foreign 3rd world immigrant Labour for farmers!!
Abuse of the Irish public for the benefit of a few! a few who either refuse to pay a decent wage so local Irish would do the job or and as likely have a non-viable business at least without plenty subsidy (we all pay for again)
Not just Fine Gael of course, Ireland has for long now had no politicians in the Dail who have had and used power for the Irish people on behalf of the Irish people. You are silenced, only asked the right questions.
Do you think for example they would give you a referendum on immigration controls for example!
Varadker is not suddenly becoming a Irish nationalist!
He is not thinking of Ireland at least not the vast majority of ordinary Irish, when he fronts up the brits in Brexit talks.
This is about Fine Gael who are the traditional party of the dairy farmers the landowners and beef producers who are the only ones in Ireland to lose out in Brexit.
The vast majority in Ireland will gain at least in the short term, who knows what the distant future is,
The Dairy industry was (on the surface) once vital to Ireland! But examination of History shows this was only because all other Industry in Ireland was purposely supressed and taxed by the British crown govt, Ireland under the british crown was purposely kept down and backward , but they allowed the dairy industry to thrive as it helped feed them for low cost.
Times have changed, the dairy industry is a extremely heavily subsidized out of tune dated industry kept alive by subsidy.
the third world might want more milk, much like they wanted cigarettes when education in the first world suggested smoking was not so good for your health.
The dairy industry today is a minute part of the modern Irish economy , but those few farmers landowners benefit way out of proportion.
Dairy Farmers receive more tax payers money welfare (call the hand outs / grants what you want) than anyone else.
Fine Gael are acting tough flying the flag not for Irish people but for this minority who have had it too good for too long.
Ireland can do without millions of tons of cow shyte polluting the land and rivers and we do not need millions more cows.
Did you know for every person in Ireland there are around 2 or 3 cows!
Corrupt EU led subsidzed industry scam, that is dying out in the 21st century.
northing wrong with small farmers or dairy if people choose, but what it is today is corrupt and a scam that it is subsidized like no other industry.
NO ONE ELSE WANTS THAT SHYTE CALLED CHEDDAR BUT THE BRITISH, and that is why Varadker and co are acting tough, not on behalf of the Irish in the North who they have seldom shown any care for in the past, no it is for that powerful tiny monority of subsidized asset rich landowners aka farmers!
Here is the very latest DAIRY meat industry scam for the benefit of the few and we will all end up paying for!!
The farmers will pay these people low wages that the tax payer will then top up via social credits and rent allowances.
Thanks a lot Fine Gael

Work permit scheme changes to address labour shortages
Updated / Monday, 14 May 2018 16:47
The changes will address shortages of low skilled, lower wage employees in the dairy, horticulture, and meat processing industries
By George Lee
Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys has announced changes to the work permit scheme to address immediate shortages of low-skilled, lower wage employees in the horticulture, meat processing, and dairy industries.
The changes will enable employers to apply to bring in 800 workers from outside the European Economic Area from next Monday.
The Irish work permit system for allowing in workers from outside the European Economic area has until now been focused on filling critical skills gaps at the higher end of the labour market.
This includes high-skilled jobs and professional positions in medicine, ICT, science, finance and business.
Today's announcement from Ms Humphreys represents a significant change in that approach.
Ms Humphreys said that labour shortages at the lower end of the skills market are becoming apparent and has the potential to restrict growth if these needs are not met
Earlier this year the minister asked her department to review the work permit system and a full report on that is due later this summer.
However, in advance of the recommendations from that report she has announced the new pilot quota-based work permit scheme for three sectors where the shortage of lower skilled and lower paid workers is now most acute.
More than 500 permits are to be provided for the horticulture sector, 250 for the meat processing sector and 50 for the dairy sector.
YOU WILL BE TOPPING UP THE MINIMUM WAGE SALARY AND PAYING FOR THE UNSKILLED WELFARE WORKERS .
No risk for them! that's why they will come for low wages and tough jobs, at least for long enough to get citizenship.
Easy ride paid for by your taxes and given away by corrupt politicians who do not want you to ask any questions.
Bear in mind the homeless and housing crisis in Ireland, where people can't afford rent as it is, they are inviting more in and guess what, they will have their wages topped up and rent allowance, so you or someone in your family in a supposed higher paid job are actually WORSE OFF than these supposed low paid workers and it will be you who will end up on the streets if you miss your mortgage or rent!
