If Padraig Harrington or any other real Irish Golfer was playing in the Ryder cup, from whatever part of Ireland, as long as they were Irish Golf players, then the real Irish would support them as individuals.

But we Irish have nothing in common with most Europeans and likewise, we would not support the Brits in any sport. We want anyone but them to win at anything.
Those two Royalist and loyalist flag waivers, Mcilroy and McDowell have made their brit bed, so FCUK them.

Those two were more than happy to take Irish money from the Ireland Golf Union when they were starting out as amateurs.
McIlroy had represented Ireland as an amateur and he had no qualms about raising the Irish tricolour when the Walker Cup was played in Co Down in 2007.

Now he claims he has always felt British and reports imply that he will compete for Britain and his Brit passport.
He even accepted a mbe from that organized crime family.

So what has changed? Money!

We Irish do not want anyone who feels half hearted abut representing Ireland. Ireland will produce more and better still golfers, genuine golfers who will not betray the Irish.

Keegan Bradley (25) became the first player since Ben Curtis to win a Major Championship on debut. Bradley walked away with the PGA Championship having won a play off against Jason Dunfer.

The Championship winner’s aunt, LPGA ‘Hall of Famer’ Pat Bradley said that was, in part, his “Irish toughness” that helped him win.
