Rugby world cup wales Warburton sending off France win

Wales v France what a poor game.
The Irish guys will be cursing themselves again losing to Wales.
I predicted France to win but not like this. France were so poor, showed no intention of playing their wild inspirational rugby.
Wales no better, both team content to kick as often as possible, and often aimlessly.
I expect France to turn up at the final, but it will still probably turn out to be a other grind and kicking contest. That is the way Rugby has gone at this world cup.
The Warburton sending off.
Correct and brave call by Alain Rolland the ref, who was perfectly positioned. And contrary to claims of French pressure for the sending off, the ref blew foul straight away and clearly was going to send him off straight away.
The ref saw how Warburton dropped the French player to the ground from height with no regard to the French player’s safety. Warburton knows that he is supposed the take the player down to the surface. Warburton showed no care for the French player and that is why Alain Rolland saw it is a straight red dangerous play.
All this talking around did Warburton mean it or not, what stupid nonsense. The action alone proves he meant it, pleas otherwise can not come into any card decisions. It was a very bad illegal and dangerous tackle - Warburton had to go.
Great call by Alain Rolland the Irish referee, one of the best at the Rugby world cup.
Gatland is one arrogant chancer.
Who thinks Gatland would have complained if the event was reversed. No chance, did Gatland complain about the illegal different ball try against Ireland in the 6 nations rugby.
Good to see him eating some humble pie, he has shown nothing but disrespect for Ireland rugby since they showed him the door.
This is Gatland complaining about the Warburton sending off and France win
"We just feel like the destiny of the result was taken out of our hands with the red card," he said after the 9-8 defeat.
"He's lifted him, that's a yellow card, but he's not driven him into the ground. Does that mean every time there's a tackle where you lift someone off the ground it's a red card?
"Why spoil the semi-final with a red card? He's not a dirty player. I'm just gutted.
"We were down to 14 but we showed great character and I'm proud of our efforts. I feel let down, I thought this team were good enough to go on and take the final but it was not to be. We just feel that ultimately the result wasn't in our control."
Gatland is trying to pretend he does not understand the rules, Warburton was sent off correctly. He dropped the French player head first from several feet up, not a inch or two.
That was Warburton actions, whether he or anyone claims he meant it or not, is irrelevant to rugby rules.
Zero tolerance and Gatland and Warburton know the rules.
The video shows the referee was correct.
Forget the typical whinging pom and understandable bias.
Just watch as the French player is dropped by Warburton and is dropped for several feet, not a few inches or close. It was extremely dangerous play. Warburton may well have done this as a once off in the heat of the match, but that is irrelevant.
Gatland saying he is not a dirty player, what a stupid nonsensical remark. What Warburton did was dangerous and merited a straight red, that's how the ref saw it and how the video evidence itself shows.
I Personally could not care less about either of the teams, preferred France because of their better style and because of Gatland.
Who is a typical old school all blacks rugby, looking to use dirty tactics if you can get away with it.
Ireland never deserved to win last week, but just have a look back at many of the photos of the quarter final. Wales were consistently high tackling around the head and neck
The Ulster mountain man Stephen Ferris was targeted, and singled out for border line and illegal hits..
Ireland Rugby and especially Declan Kidney never complain, it is pointless anyway. It was a shame that the referee never noticed one of the Welsh dangerous and illegal tackles, in our quarter final.
To be fair Wales did also legitimately and sensibly target the legs of the Irish ball carriers, which is what Ireland failed so miserably to do. Kidney should have seen the need to change the choke tackle.
Rugby should be played aggressive but always fairly.
I prefer Australia way of sport, might be extremely arrogant but they have always liked to win rugby by talent and aggression.
If the French flair rugby turns up at the final, they will win.
