Anyone who is taking a cent via fraud from social welfare should be held accountable. This is a good move, set to save Ireland some millions. But what about the bankers fraud, What about the lawyers and accountants who enabled fraud of hundreds of billions at the banks.
Hundreds of billions of fraud swept under the carpet and the politicians expect us all to pay for.

Typical cowardly Irish politician.
They encouraged the bankers and lawyers to make billions from the corruption inherent in the system. Encouraged the property speculation.
And when those legally corrupt avenues were not enough for the super rich, and the bankers and lawyers turned to fraud, they got away with it and the public pay for it.

New welfare fraud squad tasked with saving 'several hundred million' euro
Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton has today revealed plans for a tougher crackdown on social welfare fraud.
Minister Burton says a targeted "fraud squad" will be unveiled next month.
It was reported in recent weeks that an ongoing crackdown has saved the State €37m so far this year.
However, Minister Burton revealed the new team will be setting their sights on much higher sums.
"In September, I’ll be launching a much more active fraud squad, in terms of social welfare," she said.
"The target level will is very significant, it’ll be several hundred million per annum."
