Linking direct display external Images on Irish forums

Why can't I post external hosted images to display on here. I can do this at almost every other forum I am a member of.
A link to my image is not the same as direct display.
If I want to direct display images here, why do I have to use the upload images option.

Have you never wondered why most browsers, why Google and even Yahoo give you the option to display images.

If you are a member of a Irish forum or any forum, that allows members to post up external images, you should at least understand the unnecessary and very high security risks to your privacy.
There is no such thing as total protection on any website, however not all forums are the same, some are managed by naive people who do not even understand basics.
If you are a member of a Irish forum or any forum, that allows the posting of direct display external images, then you should change your browser options to not allow images and change other security options, and do it now!
How? Why?
What do you mean allowing direct display of external server images is a unnecessary and very high security risk.
Many if not most external image hosts are legitimate and useful, but allowing any external image to be displayed is a unmanageable and unacceptable security risk. Hackers can also use this care free attitude to gain access to any members account at forums and websites that allow direct display external images.
They would then be able to read their targets personal messages and private mails. And if open ended editing was allowed by that same site, and the hacker wanted to, they could change some or all of their targets old posts, linking in hidden images and text.

That is why we do not allow any direct display external Images here on these Irish forums topics.

How are my other private accounts, other private emails and even personal banking accounts potentially at risk from sites that allow direct display linking to external images.
This is very scary stuff.

If this is the absolute rule, how do I get the facility to upload images to this Irish forums own server. I will make a voluntary donation to a Irish charity as suggested. Do I get them to email proof of donation?
