Can I get some real examples of the typical costs for the different types of holiday accommodation in Ireland.
We need the costs for bed and breakfast and self catering rental.
We need the costs for the cheaper 3/4 star Hotels in Southern and Northern Ireland
In euros or sterling, we can soon work out the exchange rate.
2 weeks, the only other certainty at this moment is - we will need at least 1 night accommodation for arrival and departure in Dublin.

I have been requested to regularly update the average accommodation costs from the feedback. Makes this posting more useful for everyone visiting Ireland.

Average or typical cost of bed and breakfast in Ireland. 2011 is 40 euro per person.

Average cost of self catering in Ireland sleeps 6 people. 2011 is 400 per week. You can get a very good standard self catering Irish homes for even less this year. 300 euros for a week some self catering cottages are even cheaper.

Average cost of Hotel in Ireland. (breakfast not always included, but some are this cost with breakfast) 2011 is 50 euro per person per person sharing.

There is very good value accommodation in Ireland this year.
