Good overview of Facebook and Twitter.
"Facebook is good to use, but it has far more false accounts than real individuals. How can they keep a straight face claiming so many users.
Most of us, use it to keep in touch with close friends, it can be very useful. Facebook also get a big group of lonely people and losers who use it as a substitute for real friends, extremely sad and waste of life.
Twitter is worse, mostly spammers, spamming each other with their business interest. The most keen, the most eager to defend, are always promoting some commercial interest."
The dangerous side of Facebook, it attracts sad freaks. Provides a release for the bigotry and small minds of all too many Scottish, the type who would declare this pathetic and disturbed cowardice but a harmless prank. The Scots are the most anti Irish in the world, many Scots live in the past, ignorant and bigoted towards Irish people. Leaders in Scottish society have never fully addressed anti Irish racism.
A page on the social networking site Facebook has been created with the sole aim of getting 100,000 people to support the shooting of Celtic manager Neil Lennon.
The sick facebook page features photo-shopped images of the Celtic boss, such as the one above with bullet holes in his chest wearing a blood-stained jacket.
The creation of the page follows the incident in which Irishman Neil Lennon and two Irish Celtic players, Paddy McCourt and Niall McGinn, were sent real bullets in the post, which were intercepted by postal staff before arrival.
Strathclyde said they are not currently investigating the creation of the Facebook page.
Entitled 'Let's get 100'000 people that want to see Neil lennon get shot', over 500 people have already signed up to the page, which appears in the 'community' section of the social networking site.
Lennon, who is originally from Lurgan, Co Armagh, and two of his Northern Irish players, Paddy McCourt and Niall McGinn, were sent bullets in the post earlier this month.
A spokesperson for Strathclyde Police said they were unaware of the site, however, "all threats to kill are taken seriously and should be reported."
Meanwhile, SDLP's MLA for Craigavon, Dolores Kelly told UTV she was appalled at the news.
"First of all, I would call on Facebook to remove the page," she said.
"I think the police should be taking this very seriously and the people who've signed up to it should all be investigated."
The MLA said that it further exposed "weaknesses" in hate crime laws covering the UK.
"I'm appalled that even 500 people have signed up to the page."
She said she would be raising the matter with the PSNI and with other political representatives in the north of Ireland.
East Belfast Alliance MLA and football fan Chris Lyttle has condemned those responsible for the site.
Chris Lyttle MLA said: "This is abhorrent and those who set this up must realise they have no place in our society. This is nasty, cowardly and pathetic.
"Everyone involved in football abhors those who behave in a prejudiced manner.
"Facebook needs to remove this site immediately."
The Facebook shoot Neil Lennon page is still live on facebook.
