This is a good laugh. Tim McGarry's Irish History Lesson. Do not think you peeps in Ireland can get to see this. It is UK only. Maybe one of you can get to see the BBC program another way. Damo got me around a RTE limit. Damo?
Try and watch it -- so funny.

The comic turns a satirical eye to 5000 years of Irish history.
Some of the ideas are right over my tiny brain. He is exactly like Finn was on here. These guys know their Irish history so well -- they talk of concepts you have never even heard of before. They make you go away asking yourself more questions about Irish history than you ever had hahahehe. They know most of us are thick when it comes to a real understanding of the history of Ireland -- so they try and get a point across by making fun of it. They both catch my attention with laughs. Both blame St Patrick as the root cause for all the problems in Ireland. Both show by laughs -- that there never was a genuine historical Scots Irish culture or language. Tim McGarry calls for Orange marches to be made welcome for what they really are. A celebration of the Gay King Billy. So the Orange march should be viewed as a gay pride march.

Invasion, war, famine, repression and conflict, Irish history has always been a rich source of comedy. Join Tim McGarry as he reveals the real history of Ireland and answers the questions other historians dare not even think about.
My only complaint is -- Sligo not mentioned enough in the Irish History Lessons.
