Man has died after road rage incident
A 49-year-old man who was attacked during a road rage incident in Dublin on Sunday night has died in hospital.
The man who is from England was working here for the past few months. The attack which led to the man's death last night took place at the junction of Tritonville Road, Sandymount Road, and Newbridge Avenue in Dublin 4 at around 7.30pm last Sunday night.
He had been in his car there when a road rage incident occurred and another motorist hit him a number of times over the head with a hurley before driving away.

The 49-year-old was also able to go home after the incident.
However, he had sustained serious head injuries, felt unwell the next day and went to St Vincent's Hospital.
He was transferred to Beaumont Hospital, fell into a coma and died there before 7pm tonight.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow.
