Sceala Irish Craic Forum Discussion:     Can the Labour party win the next Irish election.

I agree that whenever Fine Fail or Fine Gael have had power, they have both sold the Irish people short. Fine Gael are a worse option.
Can the Fine Fail or Fine Gael monopoly be broken?
It looks like they can be, The Labour party came out clear on top in a Irish times politics poll.

Results
Support for Fine Gael has fallen further behind the Labour Party while support for Fianna Fáil has risen, according to a new poll.
1,000 voters were questioned around the country on Monday and Tuesday for the Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll, at the height of the controversy over pairing arrangements for the Tanaiste.
Fianna Fáil are up 3% since June to 24%, while Fine Gael drop 3% and are also on 24%. Labour have gained 4% to take a commanding lead on 33%.
The Green Party down 2% to 2%, Sinn Féin are down 2% to 8% while Independents and others are unchanged on 9%.
Satisfaction with the Government is up 1% to 13%, but three quarters of voters are dissatisfied, while 12% say they don't know.
On party leaders, Taoiseach Brian Cowen's satisfaction rating is up 1% to 19%, Enda Kenny is also up 1% to 25% while Eamon Gilmore up 3% to 49%.
John Gormley is down 3% to 18% and Gerry Adams down 2% to 29%.

The Labour party of Ireland. Count me in as another one voting for the Labour party. To be honest I do not know much about them. I do know that both Fine Fail and Fine Gael are both as bad as each other. I would sooner trust Fine Fail than Fine Gael a party that is for the rich.

We need to do something, as someone said, it is time for a change.

I will find some information on the Labour party to put on here. We all know about the other two. People will be interested, this man could be our next leader.
