Opposition to visit of British Queen to Ireland

Update to highlight how Mary McAleese has become so out of touch and indifferent towards most Irish people.
Mary McAleese has been courting more so called royalty in Holland. How much did her lavish trip to visit art galleries and museums cost us all? The way McAleese behaves and talks for us - anyone would assume that Ireland was working - and not facing bankruptcy and people not being torn apart every day.
News from her all expenses paid short break.
President Mary McAleese has described the upcoming visit of Britain's Queen Elizabeth as historic and condemned threats by dissident republicans. Mrs McAleese described them as 'the tail end of a very old, tired, failed culture of trying to resolve political problems through paramilitarism'. She was speaking in The Hague on the second and final day of her official visit to the Netherlands.

She urged those intent on violence to 'listen to the will' of 99.99% of the people who want problems solved in 'a dignified and decent way'.
Mrs McAleese wants differences resolved 'through political dialogue, not bullying'.
Curious claim by McAleese - can anyone recall McAleese ever asking the Irish peoples opinion?
Queen Beatrix praises Irish reaction to debt burden
Earlier, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands praised the Irish people for the admirable way they faced up to what she called the country's 'exceptional debt burden'.
Queen Beatrix was speaking at a lunch reception for President McAleese at the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague.
President McAleese accepted that Ireland faces tough times now and in the future, but she said the Irish people would do whatever it takes to overcome the problems.
She visited the Royal Picture Gallery at Mauritshuis in The Hague this morning. The gallery houses the iconic Vermeer painting Girl With A Pearl Earring. Other famous paintings in the collection include Vermeer's View of Delft and Rembrandt's late self-portrait. Mrs McAleese, accompanied by her husband Dr Martin McAleese, visited the European Space Agency this afternoon.
The President last night told Dutch business leaders and politicians that Ireland is honestly facing-up to its economic problems and taking humbling lessons from the process.
Humbling lessons?
Do you think any of her immediate family will be forced to emigrate?
Do you think any of her immediate family will suffer from cutbacks?
Will any of her children or grandchildren have to go without or make do?
So the MacAleese's are having a grand old time, wining and dining with snobs - never going with out. Never having a day with the fear or prospect of going without - but feels she can speak on our behalf.
McAleese and her kind are mentally disturbed if they genuinely think they are of the people. McAleese is so far removed from reality that she literally has no idea what it is like to be made financially humble.
And she claims to speak for 99.9% of Irish people.
Most Irish do not desire violence - yes we can all accept that - but - to use that sense to imply 99.9% of Irish want the English Queen in Ireland is extremely misleading. Elizabeth 11 of England is the commander in chief of the british army that murdered so many in Ireland through the centuries. The Queen of England personally decorated killers of Irish.
Many in Ireland oppose the visit of British Queen to Ireland.
Irish people have a right to peacefully protest her visit and they will.
We have a right to protest the millions that are being spent for the folly of McAleese.
Mary McAleese lives on a different planet to most Irish - she makes Marie Antoinette look like Mother Theresa.
We have a President of Ireland who is so overpaid, and so out of touch.
In 2008, President Mary McAleese annual salary was €325,508 plus benefits.
The President of Ireland is determined to use her privileges to push through a visit by the Queen of England. Who does McAleese actually represent here? The visit is for what purpose! so she can show off before she has to retire.
This is the same overpaid and out-of-touch President that fronted the - Your Country Your Call campaign. Asking Irish people to give their - save Ireland ideas - for headlined big money prizes. McAleese was not calling for a national sharing for the national interest, a basic moral duty in times of national crisis. No, the McAleese believe that the Celtic tiger concept should be resuscitated through en-masse effort. It was obvious that the McAleese believe in the ethics of the Celtic Tiger, when they offered a Celtic tiger style incentive to save Ireland - the select few winners - take all. That campaign clearly illustrates the mentality the-haves of Irish society, like the McAleese pair, have towards the wider Irish public.
The McAleese use their power for who?
Entertaining British Terrorists and convicted killers at the expense of the Irish tax payers.
We know that husband Martin used his special privileges to provide a Irish passport for a UDA gang boss.
http://www.newsletter.co.uk/news/Loyalist-chief-defends-having-Irish.4661592.jp
The loyalist leader admits in a new book about Irish president Mary McAleese that, six years ago, her husband Martin pulled a few strings for him to get a passport via Dublin so that he could visit America.
"What happened was that I was wanting to travel to a Rangers (supporters] convention in America, in Houston. This is six years ago. "I was told that with my background, traveling on a British passport I had no chance of getting into the country but someone said I should try getting an Irish one because I would have less bother for a number of different reasons.
"I didn't think twice about it – there are lots of my friends who have Irish passports. But time was tight and Martin helped me out to fast-track it. That's it.
No not that's it!
At a meal afterwards he was presented with a cheque for stg£19,641 for the Dunmurray Football Club. It has been used to update its training facilities. Martin McAleese's friends also raised money for other clubs in Belfast.
"They are very, very friendly people," he says. Jackie has met them many times since. He explained how people in his community couldn't accept money from the Irish government, that "it is too sensitive." Which was why "we very, very much appreciate what Martin has done for so many loyalist areas in Northern Ireland through organising some sort of sponsorship.
McAleese is supposed to represent and paid to represent Irish people, and specifically the Republic of Ireland. The McAleese pair, so out of touch, so overpaid, spend their time dining with British loyalist terrorists who killed in the name of the English Queen she invites over and hurts so many Irish in the process.
McAleese has used Irish tax payers money to entertain pure evil, members of the Glenanne gang, such as the RUC special branch serial killer Billy McCaughey. A convicted bomber and gunman.
McCaughey also pleaded guilty to the kidnapping of a Catholic priest, Father Hugh Murphy
He also admitted to a gun and bomb attack on the Rock Bar, in Keady in 1977 . The guns used in the attack were the same ones used in the murder of three Catholic brothers Anthony, John and Brian Reavey in Armagh on 4 January 1976. McCaughey was also implicated in the killings of three members of the O'Dowd family - Barry, his brother Declan and their uncle Joe - targeted 10 minutes after the Reaveys. McCaughey told the surviving Reavey brother in 1988: that he was at the house with three other attackers but fired no shots
Suspected of involvement the Dublin and Monaghan bombs.
The Barron Enquiry into the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of 1974, found a chain of ballistic history linking weapons and killings, to which McCaughey admitted involvement. These included, "in 1975, three murders at Donnelly's bar in Silverbridge, the murders of two men at a fake UDR checkpoint, the murder of IRA man John Francis Green in the Republic, the murders of members of the Miami showband and the murder of Dorothy Trainor in Portadown. In 1976, they included the murders of three members of the Reavey family, and the attack on the Rock Bar in Tassagh."
In addition "Barron found that it was probable the guns were kept at a farm at Glenanne belonging to James Mitchell, an RUC reservist ... from which a group of paramilitaries and members of the security forces ... carried out the massacres at Dublin and Monaghan ... The chain was unbroken because the perpetrators of these attacks weren't caught, or investigations were haphazard, or charges were dropped, or light or suspended sentences were given. The same individuals turn up again and again, but the links weren't noted. Some of the perpetrators weren't prosecuted despite evidence against them. Weir claimed that McCaughey was part of this "Glenanne gang", although McCaughey disputed this. McCaughey refused to give evidence to Judge Barron's enquiry, claiming "I know nothing about it"
Judge Barron disagreed. "The Inquiry agrees with the view of An Garda Siochana that Weir's allegations regarding the Dublin and Monaghan bombings must be treated with the utmost seriousness

This is the sort of evil that naive McAleese who must imagine she is so liberal and so cool. She is spending Irish tax payers money on entertaining British loyalists terrorists.
On 25.5.2004 BBC Spotlight interviewed former RUC SPG officer and Glenanne gang member William McCaughey. McCaughey admitted on air of a plan to attack the primary school in Belleek or the convent in Newry. According to McCaughey the plan was aborted because of the fear of the potential IRA response. This was corroboration from a second member of the gang.
The pure evil that McAleese dined with, spent your hard earned tax money entertaining, who had been involved in murder and had planned the mass murder of infants at school.
I can't even begin to describe just how let down McAleese makes so many Irish people feel.
She is the worst president of Ireland ever. Suitable only in matching the shameful times her Presidency coincides with. The shame of the worst ever economic corruption Ireland the so called Republic has known is matched by lack of morals.
Last week the overpaid Brian Cowen (paid more than Obama], meeting with British PM said - that no obstacle now exists to prevent a state visit to Ireland by Britain's queen taking place.
Obstacle - is the term Cowen chooses to describe those who would oppose a visit by the British commander in Chief to Ireland.
To Brian Cowen, Irish people who have had family members and friends murdered by the British state, are not obstacles.
In Brian Cowens mind, the Irish people who are still waiting for justice and apology for their loss and trauma, not obstacles, they are irrelevant.
- Irish people who were victims of British state sponsored terrorism, who oppose a state visit by the Queen, Commander-in-Chief of the British armed forces, - not obstacles, not relevant.
Does Cowen believe that thousands of obstacles are just going to forget - that it was the Queens own army - who murdered innocent Irish people on Bloody Sunday, and murdered on every other day of the week in Ireland. The Queen's army murdered in her name, and she their Queen, decorated and honored killers of innocent Irish, men, women and children.

Cowen neglects collusion victims but welcomes Commander-in-Chief of British Army – Ó Caoláin
Sinn Féin Dáil leader Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD has described as “totally unacceptable” the Taoiseach Brian Cowen’s welcome for a visit to Ireland by the Queen of England, Commander-in-Chief of the British Army. The Taoiseach’s welcome came on the day he refused in the Dáil to give a commitment to raise the issue of collusion with the British Prime Minister.
Deputy Ó Caoláin said:
“It is totally unacceptable that the Taoiseach is, on the one hand, welcoming and preparing for a visit to Ireland by the Queen of England, Commander-in-Chief of the British Army, while on the other hand he refuses to pursue the British Prime Minister and the British government on the issue of collusion.
“Only this morning in the Dáil the Taoiseach refused to give a commitment to me to raise with David Cameron the all-party Dáil motion on collusion passed nearly two years ago on 10 July 2008. This motion called on the British government to give to an international judicial figure all files in its possession relating to the Dublin and Monaghan bombings of May 1974, in which 33 people died, and other acts of collusion in the 26 Counties during the conflict. The Taoiseach admitted that he had failed to raise this with Gordon Browne during his premiership.
“While the Saville Report was a welcome development in vindicating the dead of Bloody Sunday it was only the tip of the iceberg of British state killings in Ireland.
“Sinn Féin opposes the proposed state visit of the Queen of England, Commander-in-Chief of the British armed forces. Until there is complete withdrawal of the British military and the British administration from Ireland, and until there is justice and truth for victims of collusion, no official welcome should be accorded to any officer of the British armed forces of any rank.”
Brian Cowen ignores collusion victims but offers welcome to Queen of England
Senator Pearse Doherty
“Bloody Sunday soldiers still wear their medals of honour.”
Sinn Féin Senator Pearse Doherty has said that the Taoiseach’s welcome for a visit to Ireland by the Queen of England is “totally unacceptable”. Brian Cowen’s welcome came on the same day that he refused to give a commitment to raise the issue of collusion with the British Prime Minister.
Senator Doherty said:
“It is totally unacceptable that the Taoiseach is, on the one hand, welcoming and preparing for a visit to Ireland by the Queen of England, while on the other hand he refuses to pursue the British Prime Minister and the British government on the issue of collusion.
“Yesterday in the Dáil the Taoiseach refused to give a commitment to raise the all-party Dáil motion on collusion with David Cameron. The motion which was passed almost two years ago on 10 July 2008 called on the British government to give all files in its possession relating to collusion to an international judicial figure. This would include the Dublin and Monaghan bombings, the murder of Buncrana Councillor Eddie Fullerton and other acts of collusion in the 26 Counties during the conflict. The Taoiseach also admitted that he had failed to raise this with Gordon Brown during his premiership.
“The Saville Report was a welcome development in vindicating the dead of Bloody Sunday and those responsible should now be stripped of their medals of honour.
“Sinn Féin opposes the proposed state visit of the Queen of England, Commander-in-Chief of the British armed forces until there is complete withdrawal of the British military and the British administration from Ireland . And until there is justice and truth for victims of collusion, no official welcome should be accorded to any officer of the British armed forces of any rank.”
Why the fuss over a visit of a foreign Queen - simple answer is - this is not just any old foreign head of state. From one war in Ireland to the next - the English monarch - honored and decorated the killers and torturers of the Irish. From the Black and Tans - to the Paras and SAS. All cut of the same cloth - social misfits with violent mental disorders -hired as British lawful killers of the Irish. People who would be regarded as dangerous and violent thugs in regular society. But when these people are employed by the queen - they are presented as brave and heroic. Handed medals of British honor for their killing sprees of innocents. Prepared to kill Irish people they don't even know - for no reason what so ever. Following orders or making their own - The regiments of the Queens own Psychopaths are held up in Britain as brave lads.
Dunblane - Hungerford - Cumbria - Derry. all terrorized at the hands of British social misfits with violent mental disorders.
The difference between these towns of mass murders - is - The English queen approved of the terror and mass murder in Derry
Colonel Wilford - is now proven to be a liar - and leader-accomplice to mass murder and torture on Bloody Sunday.
It did not take the British establishment forty years to work out the truth. They knew the truth day one.
If Wilford was just some foreign Colonel of a foreign nation - one not friendly to British industry. The British would have immediately presented a different story - call it as war crimes - and Wilford a war criminal. But Wilford was British - the queen honored Wilford - for in her opinion - Wilford bravely led the just murder and torture of innocent Irish civilians.
The English government are masters of the presentation of misinformation. The English queen - their commander in Chief gives the Royal approval.
Colonel Wilford was decorated by the Queen shortly after Bloody Sunday.
Is there any opposition to a visit of the British Queen to Ireland
No obstacle exists says- out-of-touch Cowen (paid more than Obama].
The Irish never invited any British queen to Ireland - the overpaid out of touch McAleese did.
Despite what Cowen or McAleese think - there will be both organized and random opposition to any visit of a English colonial Queen to Ireland. Cowen and McAleese are from different worlds, completely out of touch from the obstacles they - imagine do not exist.
