Sceala Irish Craic Forum Discussion:     Christmas time .
I know in some places they wanted to replace our Christmas with
Winter celebrations ,or other names so as not to offend the non Christians in schools etc , its nice to respect others but for me this was a step way to far , when I seen the pagent in Dublin this looked like a cope out , where was the crib with the baby Jesus waiting to arrive , even in Scotland we have a huge display a nativity the way our faith dictates , I think we owe the young a beginning to our faith , even if we dont know the ending , Baby Jesus was born and its his birthday as near as we can be sure... for if we dont keep our faith alive ..theres loads waiting to share theres with us .
