Irish Christmas TV live in Letterkenny Donegal

The start of Irish christmas seasonal tv events has long since started, most notable viewing being the Irish institution 'The Toy show' of the late late show on 30 November 2007.
Among those who joined Pat Kenny on the show were comic legend Jerry Seinfeld, James Blunt and the Sugababes.
After last year's space age theme, this year saw a more traditional approach, with the makers of the programme aiming to "showcase the best of everything".
Commenting, Executive Producer Larry Masterson said: "This year Pat travelled to Lapland to meet Santa in person and we were all inspired by the beauty of Santa's homeland. You can expect enchanted forests with elves and pixies, lanterns and dimly-lit wood log cabins. It's all about creating a magical world, in studio, for one night only."
The Christmas tv continues this weekend, as Tubridy Tonight comes live from the Donegal town of Letterkenny. 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' contestant Janice Dickinson will be among Ryan Tubridy's guests on 'Tubridy Tonight' tomorrow night. Also joining host Tubridy for the special show live from Letterkenny, Co Donegal will be singer Shayne Ward, boxer John Duddy and Irish soccer legends Packie Bonner, Andy Townsend and John Aldridge.
Commenting on the show, Tubridy said: "I hope Letterkenny is ready as it's going to be the biggest and most memorable Christmas party in the north-west this season."
He continued: "We have a brilliant line-up of guests, and with Janice Dickinson coming on the show, God knows what could happen. The best house-band in the world, The Camembert Quartet, will be joining me too!"
'Tubridy Tonight' airs tomorrow night on RTÉ One at 9.55pm
