I am in the process of buying a new sofa.
Do any of you have some thoughts or experience on this?
I had one delivered and the material was rough and a visitor came, sat down, put an arm up on the cushion... well, after they left, the cushion the arm was on swayed like an old horses back, their were wrinkles in the seat and I just was not happy that it looked like this after ONE sitting (so to speak).
so, I called and told them to come and get it...the sales person was not happy with me at all. but I told her that if it looks like that after one guest, then in a month of use it will look ten years old!! She said she sold many of the same couch to others and never heard any one else say this. I thought so what and told her I still did not want it. This was not a cheap sofa... now am looking for something else...
Between styles, fabrics, and cost, I am confused ..
I want a sectional (small), for it to be comfortable, not HOT to sit on like some fabrics tend to do, of course a nice look, easy to clean so company can feel comfortable and at ease (not like they are afraid to hurt it) and durable...
The last one was a well known and reputable brand... any suggestions or ideas??
Has any one owned leather? If so, how old and how did it wear and clean up?
Was also thinking of cotton/canvas....any thoughts?
HELP!! I am now sitting on the floor...
I sent my set with my son when he went off to Seattle...
Seatless in Sacramento...
