Did ye see that the film voodoo and inisheer tipped up a while back, and I did (I was not aware it was even up for the oscar) a good while after, but just the other day, has stolen all the oscars, best film and more.
The Departed by Scorcese winning four oscar categories.
The Best Director Oscar, Best Picture.
The Departed also took the awards for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Editing
Accepting the award on the ghirls behalf, I would like to thank voodoo and inisheer and all else who participated in the making of the Irish films thread and the tip off, of the rat film.
It is an excellent film and well deserved praise
And another film tipped up by our celloloid genius was little miss sunshine, where the brilliant Alan Arkin won best supporting actor, he is a great actor. and An inconvenient truth also won best documentary
But it was the Boston Irish gangsters who beat them all.
