Did ye know that ye will be honoured by the Boss this week Rosaleen.

Our very own Irish President Mary McAleese will be in Scotland for a 3 day official starting Thursday.

Among other duties, (especially avoiding those Irish who could do with a helping hand, but who look too much of a hobo to be meeting her majesty), and apart from getting yet another honorary degree, this time by Edinburgh University, Mrs McAleese will attend an event in Coatbridge to mark 50 years in Britain of the Irish traditional music association, Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.

But she has phoned ahead and just as soon as the diddly di da diddly di da diddly diddly diddly di di de music is over, she is heading over to
