Sceala Irish Craic Forum Discussion:     I'm thinking she's a selkie?
I like Annie Lennox though a lot of her videos are kind of weird. She has an amazing voice. Has anyone heard that song "Into the West" from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack? That's a gorgeous one too.

I was looking for that but came across this one and saw that it has an Irish connection, so I thought I'd post it here.

Maybe it's just me, but is anyone else thinking she was supposed to be a Selkie looking for her sealskin and the man was her husband and the filming was a metaphor for his fear and his vigilance so she wouldn't return to the sea? Maybe it's just me. Laughing Probably, there will be as many interpretations as there are watchers. Anyway, it's kind of pretty to watch.
