Donegal Young Film Director Wins Film Festival Award

County Donegal Young Film Director Darren Kennedy has won the first One Minute Junior Festival Peoples Prize as voted by young people all over Europe. As part of his prize Darren is attending One Minutes Festival in Amsterdam from November 18th to 19th. He also wins a digital camera.

Francis Wasser from Dublin and Sinead Tyrrell from Arklow also had films selected for screening at One Minute Junior Festival 2006. The three Irish film-makers were among the 20 young people who took part in the One Minutes Jr 2006 workshop hosted by RTÉ in June. The resulting films were devised and produced entirely by the participants.

Francis and Sinead will also travel to attend the festival.

The Young Donegal Film Director won with a film called - Look Who Is The Loser Now
