ok, this is lame, but is my best shot at a thing I know nothing about.

THE STRAND

Invaders come from distant lands
With evil magic to aid their hand.
Fenians gather at the strand
So brave of heart for Ireland

A warriors pledge to king on high
A victor’s quest or will they die.
Obstacles there before the eye
Anger held or eye for eye

Forget the past and anger held
Truly yer heart is there as well
Hidden yes, but never gone
Yer love of her on every song

A mother’s blood that runs in me
A dannan’s blood that speaks to thee.
A common man my father be
It’s his strength that carries me.

Oh fair dannan so bold and proud
Tis it a dragon upon yer mound.
Or is this just smoke and mirrors for me
To ponder if an entrance there will be.

Your angers just that’s plain to see.
Why make it easy for the likes of me
But know my heart is true and sound
On this quest that’s honor bound.

With thumb in mouth it’s there to see
Your smoke and mirrors won’t hinder me
With knowledge gained it’s there to see
Success, this quest, is there for me.

A sword and shield to aid the land
With it in hand I’ll make me stand
Formor magic, Dannan strength
It’s for me to win the strand.
