The Irish race (especially those who are descended from people who were in Ireland in the previous centuries and had settled for generations) are at very high risk of skin cancer. We have among us the fairest (as in at risk) of skins, that burns easily and many freckled moley type of skins.
So it is a thought I have thought myself.
Maybe mantlady will come back when she is ready and share her experience of this and Maggie and others who may have experience to share.
This is written because skin cancer is apparently often a very treatable condition if caught early enough,
