Memorial Day

No one wants to talk about the real reason for this 'holiday'. We should all be in remembrance of our fallen soldiers from all the wars.

Also remember the men and women who have lived, if many can call it life. They live with such horror inside their minds and many with broken hearts. Changed forever.

We forget why we have a day off from work. We forget why we are having bar-b-Q's and family gatherings. This is a weekend that the veterans suffer....many have painful weekends while we are partying like mad.

Many men and women mourn for their friends that didn't make it. They flashback and remember it all.

I am writing this for the men in my life that I know suffer every day, especially the days of remembrance, like Memorial Day weekend & Veterans Day. Every memory comes back because they remember....oh yes, they remember and they will never forget. Let us not forget.

War is not good for anything. When will we learn? That is a question I think we all know the answer to.

Regardless, I want to reach out to the men on this board, the men who have served, the men and women reading this that are serving, I feel for you to have to carry the pain every day of your lives, many are struggling to stay alive from poisons dropped on them.

Know that there are civilians that do care about you and I hope we can have peace one day. My hope is for peace of mind for all of you.

I will remember and I will never forget.
