Organ Donation/Blood Types

Location: Olympic Peninsula USA

Lion's travails made me think of this...my driver's license has for years said "use what you can and burn the rest", and I'm already on the National Bone Marrow donor list (my mother died of acute myelogenous leukemia, I've a bias here)

Two things here- hoping more will sign up to be organ donors, and that doesn't mean go ride your motorcycle without a helmet, either, although ER dark humour calls 19 year old males doing that potential organ donor...

And I wonder, DNA being what it is, what sort of blood types we on the list have. Not trying to invade anyone's privacy- I think Jack might have already posted his- if you are willing, can we have a wee poll?

I'm A neg, and so are my two kids and my spouse, oddly. About 15 % are this type in the US, I get called when they are down to a three day supply. Both girls have recent tattoos so they are ou of the donor list for blood for a year.
