Unfortunately for him and Rangers, TV cameras have caught it all.
As Mulgrew is sent off, Lafferty is seen winking, clearly proud in being a cheat. The TV cameras gave the Rangers cheat no choice in making a public apology today, but he will never live this down.
The football world has witnessed Lafferty purposely setting out to get Charlie Mulgrew sent off. We all know why. Rangers were terrified of Mulgrews crosses and free kicks.
Questions need to be asked. Who was Lafferty smugly winking at. It looks like he is winking towards the Rangers bench.
Lafferty is just the fall guy, who was it that ordered him to get at Mulgrew. The SFA should start an enquiry.

Because Mulgrew was sent off, Rangers just about scraped a win over 10 man Aberdeen. As things stand, it looks like Rangers have prospered from cheating. With just one match to go, if they beat Dundee Utd, they win the league.
Dundee Utd are a very good side and they still need to at least draw or win against Rangers to be certain of qualifying for European football next season. Dundee Utd are well able to beat Rangers or take points from Rangers, if they do and Celtic beat Hearts, then Celtic win the league.
Do cheats really never prosper?
We will see.
