Electric cars are still at the stage of concept for most of the buying public, so Renault advert makers were very smart selling the concept advert over the brand advert.
In context, the fact that Renault are the only car dealers to offer a Electric car range, and the full range is not available for sale until end 2012 / 2013, does help encourage that otherwise bold electric car concept advert decision.

What are the Renault electric cars going to cost.
The price of the ZOE Preview has yet to be finalised. Nevertheless, the cost (including grant and excluding battery) is expected to be comparable to that of an equivalent diesel model.

Standard charging
This is the most common method of recharging. By simply plugging your car into a recharging point (in a car park, for example), you can fully recharge the battery in six to eight hours, depending on the power available.

Quick charging
This is a more advanced method of recharging. When you need to recharge your battery quickly, simply connect your car to one of the “quick charging" points installed in public areas. A 10 minute charge offers a range of 50 kms, whilst in just 30 minutes, the battery can be completely filled.
